A gold fraud case against businessman Abbas Badru Omuoma, alias Yuri Sande Ismael, has been pushed to next month.
The Sh8.1 million gold case was adjourned to September due to the trial court Magistrate Robinson Ondieki’s absence.
Milimani Senior Principal Magistrate Benmark Ekhubi, on behalf of trial Magistrate Ondieki, directed the matter to be heard on September 23. Abbas was absent.

Abbas Badru Omuoma is accused of obtaining USD 54550 on the 11th of August in the year 2021 in Nairobi.
He obtained USD 54,550, equivalent to Sh. 8,182,500, from Yvan De Coninck by falsely pretending that he was in a position to sell 15 kilograms of gold, a fact he knew was false.
He is currently out on cash bail.
